- Zear Labs LLC is responsible for Zear Zones.
- The app creates reusable window-zone layouts on macOS.
- It uses the macOS Accessibility permission to find and reposition windows from other apps. It does not request Screen Recording or administrator access.
- Layouts and app preferences are stored on the Mac.
- The current build includes services for license validation and update checks; final release endpoints and provider disclosures are still being finalized.
- The product has not yet reached public release.

The final policy will state, in concrete terms:
- What information, if any, is included in license and update requests.
- Whether any optional diagnostics, crash reporting, or analytics ship at launch.
- Every final third-party SDK or service that can receive app-related information.
- Retention, deletion, export, and user-choice procedures.
